Join us October 27th for an evening watercolor virtual workshop! Let’s get together via zoom and enjoy some creative, community time. We live in Charleston, SC so this class will be at 8pm Eastern Time!
We’ll be painting moon phases and playing around with salt to get a cool surface-of-the-moon effect. You will need to collect your own materials for this one, and we’ll walk you through the rest. All skill levels welcome!
We’ll be using Zoom for this virtual workshop, the day before the workshop you’ll receive a link to the “meeting”, sent to the email address used to purchase the workshop. Be sure to add workshops@sistermoonstudio.com to your address book to ensure your confirmation does not go to your spam folder.
We can’t wait to craft with y’all!
What you’ll need:
Watercolor set & a plastic palette for mixing colors (usually the top of a watercolor set works perfectly for this)
Watercolor paper, size 8.5x11 or larger, 140lb is great, a few pages
Paintbrushes (round brushes are great)
Pencil with a good eraser
Something round to trace (cup, bowl, about 4” diameter)
Salt (optional - table salt or larger crystals are cool, too)
Paper towels
2 cups of water
Pipette (optional)
