Just in time for Mother’s Day, join us for an afternoon of watercolor painting and card making! We will show you how to paint our favorite, simple floral designs, plus tips for how to best compose your designs onto blank cards. We will have plenty of watercolor stock cards and envelopes, enough for at least 5 per person, so you can stock up on blank cards for Mother’s Day, Birthdays, Thank You’s, and more. Batik is Back!! Join us for a hands-on fabric dyeing workshop using natural indigo dye and the traditional batik wax-resist technique. Everyone will create a 100% cotton, hand-dyed moon phase wall-hanging, with guided inspiration for design and info about our local history with indigo dye and the plant itself.

This time we’ll be set up at our favorite local gift shop, Local Love CHS. So of course, there will be a break in the middle of the workshop to give you time to peruse & shop!

Learn to relax the mind and welcome your inner artist through the ancient practice of drawing mandalas.

This fun, relaxing workshop will open with an easy drawing to relax exercise. We will then demonstrate how to draw a radiating mandala using pen, pencil, and a compass. Then enjoy adding color and depth with various art supplies. We will explore ways to use color and symbols to create meaning and mood in our art, and simply enjoy some art making time together.

We are so excited to head back to James Island for our next watercolor workshop! Join us Oct 22nd for a mid morning New Moon Watercolor Workshop at CornerCopia Market. We’ll be painting moon phases and giving some love to the NEW moon and all she has to offer us. We’ll talk about new moon magic, learn how to set intentions for this next phase, and enjoy painting colorful moon phase designs together.

In this fun, beginner friendly watercolor class, we’ll teach you a few watercolor basics like mixing colors and adding value, and show you how to add rock salt to your paint to get a cool surface-of-the-moon effect.

Pride month is here! Come express your inner rainbow at our pride month watercolor affirmation workshop and enjoy the many amazing vendors at the Feminist Magic Market In this one hour watercolor workshop, we will design, create, and paint small but mighty affirmations, expressing our pride for our true selves and celebrating LGBTQ equality. Come up with your own quote or affirmation, or use one of our many examples as inspiration!

The workshop will be set up right after the yoga session at the Feminist Magic Market, in the open space behind the Itinerant Literate Bookshop. There are TWO workshop times the the market, 11:30am and 1:30PM, so please double check which time you are signed up for :)
